Countdown to Cambium Learning Group at ASU+GSV 2024!
Cambium Learning Group is thrilled to be a part of another ASU+GSV Summit, and we can't wait to see you all in person!
The 2024 ASU+GSV Summit is a particularly exciting one for Cambium, as, this year, we announced our three-year commitment to sponsoring the annual Power of Women (POW) Awards. As the exclusive presenting partner of the POW Awards, Cambium COO Kemi Akinsanya-Rose will host the annual Ladies Lunch awards ceremony on Monday, April 15th, to recognize this year’s winners – 15 inspiring women who are working to create a world that ensures all people have equal access to opportunities through education, innovation and skill development.
Throughout the Summit, Cambium executives will be sharing their insights as part of several panels to discuss some of the most pervasive challenges across the education landscape in addition to examining trends in education from both business and workforce perspectives.
Kicking off with the Inflection Points for K-12 Software Adoption panel, on Tuesday, April 16 at 9 a.m. PT, Ashley Andersen Zantop, CEO of Cambium, will join other edtech CEOs to discuss the upswing in software adoption at K-12 schools and the opportunity this presents for developers. Participants will offer insight into the future of K-12 software platforms, the funding environment, and the role that tools like AI could have in personalizing student learning pathways and supporting better outcomes.
Against a backdrop of shifting social, educational, and political landscapes, conversations around diversity and inclusion continue to be essential in the workplace. Cambium Chief People Officer Melissa Yates May will join other industry leaders on the Walking the Tightrope: Sustaining Diversity in the Workforce panel, on Tuesday, April 16 at 11 a.m. PT, to share actionable insights and proven strategies for navigating these discussions so that workforces and student bodies remain robust and vibrant despite external pressures.
Overhauling literacy programs to align with the Science of Reading is no small feat. On Tuesday, April 16 at 11 a.m. PT, Dr. Liz Brooke, Chief Learning Officer at Lexia Learning (a Cambium brand), will participate in the Science of Reading in the 21st Century Classroom: Getting Our Students on Grade Level panel; she will discuss incorporating an evidence-based approach to literacy instruction into classrooms. Alongside other panelists, she'll offer insight into the effective strategies and potential challenges districts may face in this literacy journey.
Moreover, effective brand marketing needs the perfect combination of creativity and rigorous mathematical discipline. And, to discuss this, John Jorgenson, CMO at Cambium, will join other top marketers on the Marketing Programs That Actually Work panel, on Tuesday, April 16 at 2:10 p.m. PT, to offer insight into how to tell a compelling story across multiple channels and breakthrough in a crowded market.
Rounding out the Summit, Cambium CEO Ashley Andersen Zantop will take the stage once again to discuss the women's revolution in the edtech industry during the StageX Wednesday Lunch on Wednesday, April 17 at 12 p.m. PT. Ashley will join other women CEOs to speak about their experiences in leadership and the best ways to support women on their own journeys into leadership opportunities.
Cambium Learning Group looks forward to seeing and connecting with all ASU+GSV participants in San Diego next week! If you'd like to meet with someone from our team, send me an email (John.Jorgenson@cambiumlearning.com).
