ASU+GSV 2023 Power of Women Award: Congratulations to our CEO!
Cambium's CEO Ashley Andersen Zantop among the nine winners recognized.
On January 20, ASU+GSV announced the 2023 recipients of their annual Power of Women (POW) Awards. I am proud – and not surprised – that Cambium’s CEO Ashley Andersen Zantop was among the nine winners recognized. The list features formidable female leaders from organizations that are committed to increasing access to education and workforce skills for learners globally, collectively impacting well over 250 million learners through their work.
Ashley embodies what the award celebrates, which is female leaders who, through scaled innovations in education and skills, are creating a world that ensures all people have equal access to the future. In her time at Cambium, Ashley has helped the company reach new heights, now serving 95% of U.S. districts, 29M+ students and 1.3M teachers, undoubtedly helping students from all backgrounds gain more equitable access to opportunities.
Working closely with Ashley, I see her highlighting the importance of inclusivity and belonging daily. Ashley is consistently seeking out ways to uplift those around her through her leadership approach that draws on three pillars: tenacity, allyship, and empathy. These three pillars have allowed Ashley to cultivate an environment that not only thrives but empowers the future leaders of edtech to be the most innovative and successful leaders in the industry. Her commitment to making space at the table for everyone has, and will continue to, have a positive impact on not just all of us at Cambium, but on the wider edtech community and the educators and students we serve.
Ashley, congratulations on this well-deserved honor!
