Cambium Learning Group Named to GSV EdTech 150 for Third Consecutive Year
The list recognizes the most transformational digital learning and workforce skills companies.
Dallas, TX – January 12, 2023 – Cambium Learning Group announced today that it has been named for the third consecutive year to the GSV EdTech 150 list, a list of the world’s most transformative private companies in education.
Cambium was selected from over 4,000 venture capital and private equity-backed companies revolutionizing the world of education technology. GSV estimates that together these 150 companies reach roughly 3 billion people — almost half of the global population — and generate approximately $25 billion in revenue.
“We are excited to release the annual GSV 150, a selection of the leading private companies in digital learning and workforce skilling,” said Alexandra Argo, investor at GSV Ventures. “As we enter into what we call a ‘Brave New World,’ it is clear that you can’t use an old map to navigate a new world. This impressive group of companies continues to grow and evolve to meet the needs of learners and businesses at scale. After evaluating over 4,000 companies globally, we are proud to present the list of the 150 most impactful companies in digital learning that are leading the charge in providing ALL people equal access to the future.”
“Over the course of 2022, Cambium rose to the challenges facing the edtech industry and extended our impact by working to ensure that the communities we serve feel seen, valued and supported,” said Ashley Andersen Zantop, CEO of Cambium Learning Group. “Being honored for a third year in a row speaks to the hard work and tenacity of our employees. It’s exciting to see their commitment to innovation and equity in education recognized and celebrated.”
Cambium now serves more than 29 million students and 1.3 million teachers in 95% of U.S. districts and in more than 170 countries, an increase of 190% in unique students served since 2018. The recognition from GSV further underscores the efforts of Cambium and its businesses over the past year, including the launch of Learning A-Z’s Foundations A-Z™ and Raz-Plus® Español solutions; Time4Learning’s new social studies curriculum and middle school electives; Lexia Aspire™ Professional Learning, a new subscription professional learning solution for teachers; and Cambium Assessment’s new statewide interim and summative assessments in Texas and new statewide progress monitoring in Florida.
